Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday and I love Christmas too! However, I wish that gratitude and giving were not just seasonal. I believe they should be year around themes. 

I am connecting you with other ranchers and mentors in the industry to build your own mastermind of people in the ranching space.

We respect and hold on to the legacy of the pioneers and all that they built to the point that tradition can be an anchor holding us back from discovering new methods and ideas.

Volunteering teaches youth the power of kindness, that it’s important to give back and it provides a sense of confidence that they can pursue their dreams because YOU support them in getting there.

If we view ranching as a business, we need to shift our mindset to be more entrepreneurial and business-like.

I left the lecture and panel discussion with a greater understanding of the subject matter and my eyes opened to not only the topic, but also why we need to improve how we communicate science.

So what does effective communication of science look like?

We often say and admit that the most dangerous words are “…because that’s the way we’ve always done it.” Yet, we still use that as an answer and excuse for our actions.

The good news for YOU is that I have an exciting line of content built up that you can listen to while doing your fall work.

Synonyms for busy include “in the field” and “full plate”… I’m not sure there are two better words to describe this season that farmers and ranchers are going through.
