A Christmas Message

Merry Christmas. If you don’t read any further, please know that I send you warm greetings during this season. But, I’d encourage you to take 2 minutes to finish this blog. 

Christmas is the season of joy, family, friends, gifts and traditional treats. It’s also a time when many businesses are hustling to get their last minute paperwork and projects complete before the first of the new year. For ranchers it’s also full of feeding, bedding, opening waters, paperwork and working on projects in the shop. 

Needless to say, it’s not really a time when people slow down. Sure, we aren’t outside as long because there is less sunlight. However, that doesn’t lessen the workload. It’s just a different kind of work.

Rest is needed. Breaks are needed. Reconnecting is needed.

My wish for you is that you have a Merry Christmas. A Merry Christmas where you actually take the time to be present with yourself and those you are with. A Christmas where you allow yourself to rest and take the break you deserve. A Christmas where you remember the reason for the season and allow yourself to open up to feel God’s love and the love being offered to you by those around you.
