Gift-Giving Guide for Farmers, Ranchers, and the Ones They Love
The holiday season is already upon us and while the quality time people in this world are more than happy with the present of presence, the gift-givers remind us that acts of love and appreciation can come in many forms.
Christmas seems to sneak up on our household between fall cattle work, fencing, winter prep, soil sampling and deer hunting season. By the time Thanksgiving and sausage-making day are wrapped up, it is crunch time for ordering and buying Christmas gifts.
The good ole’ Christmas list is great when family members actually share them with you but that’s never a guarantee. I find the farmers and ranchers in my life even harder to shop for at times too even though I grew up active on the family ranch!
Over the years of individual and white elephant gifts, there are a few that rise to the top for me and some that seem to go over well each year. The following list shares gifts that at the very least will spark some other ideas to get your Christmas shopping started for those farmers and ranchers in your life. They are not segmented into his or hers gifts because let’s be real, I hope Santa brings me a new fence stretcher just as much as my husband does and self-care is important for all of us.

Who says you have to get individual gifts? What’s wrong with making a vacation, weekend getaway or an item you both want your Christmas gifts to each other?
